In order to support and accelerate our development, we are looking for a Business Development and Partnerships Manager.

Alice POS has developed a point of sale software for the small and medium-sized businesses (“SMB”) multi-store retail market and for retailers involved in re-commerce. We operate across Canada, the United States and three other countries.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the manager uses his or her expertise to implement the strategic sales plan. Do you have a good experience in B2B, the development of strategic partnerships, the management of major accounts and the development of your sales team? You could be the person we need!

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mobilize and ensure the development and performance of sales.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Identify and understand customers’ needs to offer the right products/services.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic partners.
  • Participate in different representation events or promotional events.
  • Negotiate and close contracts with customers.
  • Generate business opportunities in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (support team and programmers) to provide excellent customer service.
  • Analyze market trends and sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and present business proposals to customers.
  • Optimize the use of our CRM.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of the retail industry and products/services.
  • Effective communication and being able to negotiate.
  • Consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers and strategic partners.
  • Being a good team player and being able to collaborate with the various teams of the company.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and account management tools.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Competence in documenting work in a detailed and ethical manner.

  • Bilingualism (French and English).
  • Experience in B2B sales for major account positions.
